Questions people ask
What do I actually get?
Access to the 1:am Room via WhatsApp and a web app. The room writes up what you’ve discussed, notices threads over time, and keeps your memories all in one place.
What’s different from other AIs?
Most AIs are general. The 1:am Room is a specialist, built with one thing in mind — to help you see clearer and get out of your head. And because it remembers across sessions, the more it sees, the better it gets at spotting what you can’t.
Do I need to download anything?
If you’ve got WhatsApp already installed, there’s nothing to download. The app is web-based. Add it to your home screen, and you’ll be taken straight to your diary, threads, memories, and account.
What happens after the first month?
After your first month at the introductory rate, you’ll switch to the normal monthly plan. You can cancel at any time.
Is there a limit on how much I can use it?
Message as much as you like — there’s no strict limit. We do operate a fair usage policy though. If your messaging falls significantly outside normal use, we’ll let you know — and you can continue chatting on a lighter model. Fair usage resets every week.
How do I cancel?
In the app, under account. Or directly through Onelink, using the link in your confirmation email. You’ll keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
Can I get a refund?
If you’re in the UK, EU or EEA, you have a statutory right to a full refund within 14 days of your payment. Separately, a refund may be issued at any time within 60 days of a payment, considered case by case. Refunds are issued by Onelink, our merchant of record.
What happens to what I tell it?
The conversation lives in WhatsApp. What the room writes up for you — your diary, threads, and memories — is held in a secure database and shown in the app. We ask for an email or Google sign-in and your number. That’s it, no name. Your data is never shared or sold.
Is this therapy?
No, the 1:am Room is not therapy, or a substitute for it — although you may want to use it alongside therapy. The room may offer reads of your situation, which are yours to take or leave.
Which countries can I use it in?
The 1:am Room is available in most countries, with some exclusions. You can also message in your native language, and the room will respond in the same. If you’re unable to find your country at checkout, we don’t currently support that region.
How it is delivered. The 1:am Room is delivered through WhatsApp — the conversation happens there, on your own phone number. You need a WhatsApp account and a 1:am Room account to use it. There is nothing to download and nothing is posted to you.
Prices and payment. Payments are handled by Onelink (Sold through Link, LLC) as merchant of record, using Stripe’s payment infrastructure, so your purchase is made from Onelink and their terms apply to the payment.
